Sow seed when ripe and place in an open frame to germinate.
Botanic information
Leaf: The paripinnate leaves have 6 to 10 broad-ovate to oblong leaflets that are up to 120mm (4 ΅in) long and 60mm (2? in) wide. Theyare pale green on the underside and have a short petiole up to 7mm (₯in) long. The obtuse apex is notched and the margins are recurved.
Flower: The small yellowish crateriform flowers have tiny orbicular sepals and petals with yellow anthers and white filaments. They are arranged in an axillary panicle up to 300mm (1ft) long and appear from late summer to early winter.
Fruit: The rounded yellow orange capsule is 3-lobed with a single black seed in each lobe and surrounded by orange pulp.
