Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 19º to 24º C. (66º to 77º F).

Note:
This plant is not commonly cultivated and may be difficult to obtain requiring a specialist nursery.


Botanic information
Leaf: The tiny dark green linear leaves have an obvious shape keel running down the back and are arranged in threes clasping the stem

Flower: The tree is monoecious with the tiny male strobili appearing towards the end of the branchlets and the globular to oblong glaucous female cone is up to 10mm (?in) diameter and appears during late summer.

Fruit: The globular cones are solitary with 6-scales that are separate to the base when ripe revealing columella (small column) that is present in the centre of the fruit. It contains a few light brown seeds with 2-unequial wings and are dispersed by wind.
