Propagation
Take stem cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period.


Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green oval leaves have a thick texture with an obtuse apex and a short petiole. The margin is tinged in red when young and the leaves are arranged on yellowish stems.

Flower: The small 5-pettled white to pink cyathiform flowers have free stamens and appear solitary in the leaf axils. The flowering period varies but normally during midsummer but may appear throughout the year in warm climates.

Fruit: The capsule contains small seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
