Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and soak overnight.
This plant is difficult to transplant as it has a fine root system.


Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green pinnate leaves are divided and sub-divided into slender segments that are almost terete. The new growth during winter is tan coloured and is an attractive feature of the plant.

Flower: The sessile yellow tubulate flowers are arranged within a bract on a globular terminal spike. They appear from spring to early summer.

Fruit: The small seeds are viable and the achene is covered in fine hairs.
