Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring in a well drained media and allow the surface to dry before watering, avoid damping off from over watering.


Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green pinnate leaves are divided into slender segments that are terete.

Flower: The small yell to red tubulate flowers have reflexed petals with a long wiry style. They are arranged in a pubescent cylindrical spike that is up to 125mm (5in) long and appears above the foliage on a slender scape during spring.

Fruit: The tiny follicle is shell-like and has a sticky texture. It contains winged seeds.
