Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and it may take some time to germinate.
Take cuttings throughout the year and placed on a misting bench.
Botanic information
Leaf: The small sessile obovate leaves are arranged in opposite ranks along the stem. It has an obtuse apex and the margins are strongly recurved.
Flower: The small creamy-white campanulate flowers have 5-sepals and petals with 5-stamens that are opposite the petals. The flowers appear solitary in the leaf axils from spring to summer.
Fruit: The small nuts are viable but may be difficult to germinate so the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
