Propagation
Sow fresh seeds and place in a protected environment until spring.
Take semi-hardwood cuttings during summer.

Botanic information
Leaf: The dark greeen acicular leaves are terete with a pointed apex and are covered in whitish hairs.

Flower: The tiny cyathiform flowers have stamens up to 13mm (¥in) long and arranged in bundles of 3 to 9. The flowers are arranged in a terminal globular cluster that appears during spring.

Fruit: The cup-shaped capsule is woody and persistent on the plant. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
