Propagation
Sow fresh seed in spring in a prepared bed and maintain a temperature of 19º to 27º C. (66º to 81º F).
Note:
Contact with the leaves may cause skin irritation, wear gloves when handling.
Botanic information
Leaf: The basal oblong leaves are arranged in a rosette and the stem leaves are alternate. The apex is obtuse and the leaves are sessile or clasping the stem. The leaf has a thin texture with a prominentmidrib.
Flower: The nodding salverform flowers have a long tube with 5-spreading petals and are arranged in a dense terminal panicle. The long lasting flowers open at night and remaining open during the daylight in summer.
Fruit: The small brown berry contains several tiny seeds that are very viable.
