Propagation
Take stem cuttings of non-flowering shoots in spring or autumn.
Divide the suckers during spring.

Note:
This plant may be grown as an indoor plant in cool climates requiring misting to maintain a humid environment.


Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile yellow-green leaves are ovate to oblong and have an acute apex. The texture is thick and fleshy and the entire margins may be tinged red.

Flower: The waxy calceolate flowers have a pedicleup to 40mm (1½in) long and are arranged in a terminal raceme that is up to 700mm (28in) long. The flowers may appear throughout the year in warm climates but normally during summer.

Fruit: They have a single chambered capsular fruit that has many small seeds that lack endosperm but the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
