Propagation
Sow fresh seed in spring in a prepared bed or place in an open frame to germinate.


Botanic information
Leaf: The glossy dark green pinnate leaves have 12 to 14 ovate-oblong leaflets that are arranged oppositely along the rachis. The upper surface has a quilted appearance with an obtuse apex and a short petiole.

Flower: The small yellowish-green crateriform flowers have 5-petals and 5-sepals and are arranged in an axillary panicle and appear during spring.

Fruit: The reddish woody capsule splits from the base into 5-parts releasing numerous winged seeds.
