Propagation
Take stem cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period.
Aerial layering is carried out during the growing period.


Botanic information
Leaf: The distinctive ovate leaves have 5-lobes with the terminal one longer with an acuminate apex. The petiole is up to 300mm (1ft) long and the upper surface is dark glossy green.

Flower: The small yellowish spathe is up to 100mm (4in) tall and appears during early summer and is not regarded as a feature of the plant.

Fruit: The small berry is not commonly used and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
