Take semi-hardwood cuttings taken during early summer.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are narrow-elliptical to oblong-lanceolate and tapers to an acuminate apex. The glabrous leaves have a short petiole and numerous lateral veins with many small oil glands. The new growth is pale pink and mature to dark glossy green up to 50 mm (2 in) wide.

Flower: The white cyathiform flowers have 4-sepals that may be persistent and 4-petals that are normally deciduous. The numerous long bristle-like stamens are arranged in whorls and the flowers are arranged in an axillary cyme towards the end of the branches, appearing during early summer.

Fruit: The urceolate berry is crowned by a circular rim of the calyx and has a fleshy outer layer. It is green, turning pink and maturing with a red tinge and contains one large seed. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
