Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring to early summer.
Botanic information
Leaf: The glossy dark green leaves are ovate to broad ovate has an acute apex and the petiole is up to 450mm (1µin) long. The margin hassmall serrations that appear in the upper half of the leaf and the veins are impressed on the upper surface.
Flower: The small white tubulate flowers are arranged in short stalked spherical cyme that is up to 100mm (4in) wide and appear during summer.
Fruit: The small one seeded ovoid berry-like drupe is bright red during autumn and persist on the tree during winter. The small seeds are viable but the plant may be easily reproduced vegetatively.
