Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F).

Take stem section cuttings and apply bottom heat.


Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green leaves are linear to lanceolate and are up to 87mm (3½in) wide with a channelled petiole that is up to 600mm (2ft) long. The upper surface is flat with the mid rib is green, red or yellowish and the apex is acuminate.

Flower: The small white crateriform flowers are sessile or have a short pedicle and consist of 6-expanding petals with 6-stamens that have greenish anthers. They are arranged in a terminal drooping panicle that is up to 1.5m (5ft) long and appears from late spring to early summer.

Fruit: The small globose berry is white and may have a bluish tint. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
