Propagation
Sow seed when ripe and place in an open frame to germinate.
Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring and semi hardwood cuttings during late summer.
Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green ovate leaves upper surface is pubescent and the upper side has a quilted texture. The purplish petiole is short and the apex is obtuse.
Flower: The 5-pettled white crateriform flowers have a yellow basial stain and are normally arranged solitary but may appear in small axillary cymes during late spring. The flower has 5 sepals and a superior 1-celled ovary.
Fruit: The small capsule has 10-valves and releases tiny seeds that contain endosperm. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
