Propagation
Sow fresh seed during autumn in pots and place in a cold frame to germinate.

Divide established clumps during spring. When planting out space up to 30cm (1ft) apart and plant firmly in the soil.

Note:
During winter the plant dies down and disappears. It is advisable to mark its position so it is not dug over.
