Propagation
Stratify seeds for 2 to 3 months during winter and sow seeds in pots, then place in an open frame to establish.


Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green pinnate leaves have 7 to 9 lanceolate to narrow-oval leaflets that have an acuminate apex and a very short petiole. They are arranged oppositely along the rachis and the serrated leaflet margin is undulating.

Flower: The small male and female flowers are arranged in a short cluster and lack a calyx or corolla. They appear before the leaves during early spring.

Fruit: The oblong single samara has a greenish wing and is pendulous. It is dispersed by wind and gravity.
