Sow fresh seed during autumn in pots.
Take semi-hardwood cuttings taken during summer apply bottom heat.


Botanic information
Leaf: The glossy dark green imparipinnate leaves have up to 13-oblong to ovate leaflets that are up to 110mm (4in) long on a slender petiole. They are glabrous except along the edges and at the base of the main vein. The undersides are glaucous and during autumn the leaves turn a rich yellow colour before falling.

Flower: The dioecious cyathiform flowers have 5-yellow petals and are arranged in a terminal panicle or corymb that is up to 75 mm (3in) tall and appear during early summer.

Fruit: The spherical berry-like drupe forms in dense clusters above the foliage and contains 5-seeds. The fruit is only found on female trees and persists throughout winter. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
