Sow fresh seed during spring in pots.
Divide the clump in spring.

Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period.


Botanic information
Leaf: The bright green leaves are ovate to cordate with a rounded and a short petiole. They appear in opposite pairs on long trailing stems to 1m (3ft). They have a fleshy texture and the upper surface has a quilted appearance along the veins.

Flower: The yellow 5-petaled axillary cyathiform flowers are solitary with a short pedicle and appear during summer and are a feature of the plant.

Fruit: The small capsule contains tiny seeds that are viable but the plant may be easily reproduced vegetatively.
