Propagation
Sow fresh seed during autumn in pots and place in a open frame to germinate.

Soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring to early summer.
Root cuttings during winter.


Botanic information
Leaf: The light green leaves are broad ovate and normally have 3 to 5 lobes with an abruptly acuminate apex. The slender petiole is long and the veins on the underside are pubescent. The large leaves are a feature of the plant.

Flower: The 2-lipped white to yellow campanulate flowers have orange purple spotted throats and expanded petals with wavy margins. They are arranged in an upright terminal panicle that is up to 250mm (10in) tall and appear during midsummer.

Fruit: The pendant cylindrical pod-like capsule is long and slender and turns dark brown to black when mature.The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
