Propagation
Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring to early summer.

Divide established clumps (rhizome) during early spring while dormant.


Botanic information
Leaf: The mid-green leaves are lanceolate to linear and the base clasps the stem. Its apex in acute and the leaf has a slightly fleshy texture.

Flower: The radiate flower have blue, white to pink ray florets with yellow disk florets and are held above the foliage on a long peduncle, appearing during midsummer.

Fruit: The small cypsela (seed) are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
