Leaf: The dull green pinnate leaves have 5 to 7 oblong to narrow lanceolate sessile leaflets that are arranged palmately. They have a silky-pubescence and an acute apex and during autumn the leaves turn yellow-brown before falling.
Flower: The 5-petalled yellow crateriform flowers may appear solitary or are arranged in a cyme with three blooms. They appear from spring to summer.
