Divide established clumps in spring.
Botanic information
Leaf: The aromatic basal leaves are 2-pinnate with numerous leaflets that are covered in fine silvery hairs. The smaller stem leaves are normally arranged alternately in groups of three.
Flower: The small radiate flowers heads are arranged in a flattened terminal corymb up to 120mm (5in) wide. They are held above the foliage on a strong scape that is up to 1000mm (3ft) tall and appear from early to late summer. The long flowering period is a feature of the plant.
Fruit: The small seeds are viable and germinate readily but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
