Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F).

Divide suckers during spring.


Botanic information
Leaf: The inversely lanceolate dark green leathery leaves are up to 25 mm (1 in) wide and have curly threads along the margins. The apex is cuspidate and the leaves are slightly glaucous.

Flower: The creamy-white flowers are crateriform to cyathiform and are arranged in a conical terminal panicle that is up to 2m (6ft) tall. The flowers have perianth segments are distinct and may be slightly united. They open at night with a pleasant fragrance during midsummer.

Fruit: The small capsule contains several seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
