Propagation
Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during spring and semi hardwood cuttings during summer.


Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile leaves are whitish tomentose when young maturing to a grey-green colour. It is deeply lobed and is ovate to lanceolate in shape.

Flower: The small 2-lipped tubulate flowers are arranged in whorls on a terminal panicle. The upper lip is divided into 4-lobes and the throat has dark blue markings. Its whitish style extends out over the bottom lobe and the calyx is heavily tomentose. They appear during midsummer.

Fruit: The tiny fruit contains 4-nutlets and the small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
