Propagation
Sow fresh seed during autumn in pots and place in a cold frame to germinate.
Divide the rhizome during autumn or spring.
Culture
In open positions the plant may require staking.
Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green basal leaves are broad with 5-lobes and the smaller sessile lanceolate stem leaves are normally serrated or pinnatifid towards the acute apex.
Flower: The radiate flowers have pink to white ray florets with bright yellow disk florets and arranged terminally on a slender leafy scape. They appear during late summer.
Fruit: The small seed are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
