Propagation
Sow fresh seed during summer in pots and place in a cold frame to germinate.

Divide offsets during spring.


Botanic information
Leaf: The silvery-green leaves are broad ovate to oblong with an obtuse apex and may have a cordate base. The upper surface has a quilted texture and is covered in fine silvery hairs.

Flower: The 2-lipped white to pink tubulate flowers are arranged in a terminal panicle that appears on a scape up to 1m (3ft) tall during midsummer.

Fruit: The small nut produces seeds that are viable but the plant may be easily reproduced vegetatively.
