Propagation
Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period.
Take stem or nodal cuttings during summer.
Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green leaves are obovate to oblong with a thickish texture and are arranged in opposite pairs along the slender stems.
Flower: The tubulate flowers have 5-spreading lobes and the pedicle is long and thread-like. They appear solitary in the leaf axils during summer just above the foliage.
Fruit: The tiny capsule is surrounded by a persistent calyx. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
