Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 19º to 27º C. (66º to 81º F).

Take cuttings during summer and placed on a misting bench.


Botanic information
Leaf: The glossy dark green leaves are elliptical to lanceolate with a cuneate base and a short petiole to 12mm (½in) long. The apex is acute to acuminate and the leaves tend to fold upwards.

Flower: The small cyathiform flower have 4 to 5-small oval shaped petals that surround over 50 slender exserted stamens and one long style. They are arranged in a dense axillary umbel with 10 or more blooms and appear towards the end of the branches during summer.

Fruit: The small capsule is egg-shaped with 3-cells that split into 3-equal pieces and contain several flattered angular seeds. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
