Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F).

Note:
This plant is not commonly cultivated and may be difficult to obtained, requiring a specialist nursery.

Botanic information
Leaf: The glossy dark green leaves are elliptical to oblong with obvious net-veins on both sides. The apex is obtuse and the petiole is up to 40mm (1½in) long.

Flower: The cyathiform flowers have 4-spreading rounded petals and 8-stamens that are flattened at the base. The ovary is surrounded by a slightly pubescent cylindrical style. The flowers are arranged in an axillary panicle and appears during summer.

Fruit: The 4-celled berry has a fleshy outer layer with a acid lemon-like flavour. Each cell contains a single seed.
