Propagation
Sow fresh seed when ripe and pre-soak seeds in heated water 13º to 18ºC (55º-64ºF) for 24 hours. The seeds may require scarification.


Botanic information
Leaf: The cordate leaves have long petioles and the margin is broadly undulate. The texture is thin and has obvious yellow-green veins on the upper surface with an acuminate apex.

Flower: The small papillionate flowers have 5-free petals and are arranged in dense clustered terminal raceme that is up to 300mm (1ft) long and appears during early summer.

Fruit: The stalked flat legume contains small seeds that have a hard outer layer.
