Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 18º to 21º C. (64º to 75º F).

Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during spring and semi hardwood cuttings during summer apply bottom heat.

Note:
If plant parts are ingested they may cause stomach upset and contact with the milky sap can cause skin irritation.

Botanic information
Leaf: The grey-green leaves are broad-lanceolate to elliptical and are finely pubescent and the underside has prominentraised veins. It has a long greyish petiole and the apex is acute.

Flower: The mauve-purple stellate flower has 4-lobes that are finely pubescent and has central bright yellow stamens and style. They appear solitary during late spring.

Fruit: The small rounded berry is surmounted by the persistent calyx. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
