Propagation
Sow fresh seed from autumn to spring in pots and in cold climates place in a cold frame.
Divide established clumps during late summer.
Botanic information
Leaf: The flatbright green linear leaves are narrowly winged and tend to arch with age.
Flower: The small stellate flowers are arranged in a umbel-like cluster with up to 8-blooms. They have pail blue petals and a bright yellows centre and appear successively (Iris-like)during spring but are short lived.
Fruit: The small capsule contains tiny seeds that are viable and self-sow readily but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
