Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F).

Take semi-hardwood cuttings taken during summer apply bottom heat.
Divide suckers during winter.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are ovate to oblong and the colour is mid-green to blue-green. The petiole is short with stipules absent and the apex is acute.

Flower: The tubulate flowers have a cylindrical pubescent floral tube with 4-imbricate expanded sepals and the petals are absent. In the centre are short yellow stamens and the flowers are arranged in rounded terminal umbel that is up to 50mm (2in) wide and appears during early summer.

Fruit: The small fruit is a 1-seeded capsule. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
