Botanic information
Leaf: The leathery elliptical leaves are slightly concave with the underside covered in silvery-bronze scale-like hairs and the margins are undulating. The short petiole is also pubescent and the apex is acuminate.

Flower: The small creamy-white crateriform flowers are solitary or in pairs in the leaf axils. They have 4-petals that become reflexed as they open and the pedicle is long. They appear from late spring to earaly summer.

Fruit: The drupe-like globular fruit contains one seed. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
