Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green linear leaves have a texture that is rough with prominent ribs on the upper surface and the underside is smooth.

Flower: The silver tinted tiny spikelets are arranged on a arching panicle that is up to 450mm (18in) tall and appears during early summer.

Fruit: The small seeds are viable but the plant may be easily reproduced vegetatively.
