Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F).

Take semi hardwood cuttings during summer and apply bottom heat.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leathery ovate leaves are dotted with oil glands and have a glossy appearance on the upper surface with the underside covered in stellate-tomentose.

Flower: The pendulous tubulate flowers have 4-fused petals that are salmon pink to red with stamens that extending past the reflexed petals. It has a short pedicle and is solitary or arranged in a small cluster appearing under the branches from autumn to spring.

Fruit: The small capsule is not commonly used and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
