Propagation
Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during spring and semi hardwood cuttings during summer.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leathery textured ovate leaves are pubescent and have an obtuse apex with a cordate base. The margins tend to be recurved and the petiole is very short.

Flower: The pendant flowers are accompanied by two leafy bracts and have 4-spreading reflexed lobes with 8-yellow stamens. They appear during summer.

Fruit: The dehiscent capsule is explosive and has very small seeds. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
