Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 16ş to 18ş C. (61ş to 64ş F).


Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green leaves are long linear and flattened with an acute apex. During autumn the foliage dies off becoming brown.

Flower: The spikelets are arranged in a nodding terminal panicle and appear during midsummer.

Fruit: The small seeds are produced in large quantises and are very
viable.
