Botanic information
Leaf: The long flat dark green lanceolate leaves are upright arching with age and have an acute apex. The texture is finely pubescent.

Flower: The spikelets are flattened and arranged in nodding spike-like terminal raceme that appears during summer.

Fruit: The small seeds are viable and are produced in large quantities.
