Propagation
Sow fresh seed from autumn to spring in pots and in cold climates place in a cold frame.

Divide established clumps (rhizome) during spring.
Take semi hardwood cuttings during summer apply bottom heat.

Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile ovate leaves are deeply lobed with an entire or serrated margin and are densely pubescent. When crushed they are mildly aromatic.

Flower: The small radiate flower heads are arranged in a terminal panicle that is up to 80mm (3in) long and appears from summer to autumn.

Fruit: The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
