Propagation
Sow fresh seeds in situ from spring to summer or early autumn and space seedlings 300mm (1ft) apart.

Divide offsets during autumn.
Divide established clumps (rhizome) during spring.

Culture
The leaves are chopped and cooked or mixed with other ingredients. To maintain flavour in the plant regularly cut back the leaves and prevent the flowers from forming.
This is an easy plant to grow and requires little care once established.

Note:
Care should be taken as contact with the plant may cause skin irritation.
