Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 18º to 21º C. (64º to 75º F).

Take cuttings during summer with bottom heat.

Note:
If plant parts are ingested they may cause stomach upset and contact with the milky sap can cause skin irritation.

Botanic information
Leaf: The glossy dark green leathery leaves are obovate to broad lanceolate with a whitish green mid-vein. They are arranged in spiral clusters at the end of the branches and are deciduous during winter or in drought periods but remain on the plant in favourable conditions.

Flower: The salverform flowers are arranged in a terminal corymb that appear in cycles during summer and vary in colour from red, pink and white.

Fruit: The spreading or reflexed follicle is up to15mm (µin wide and the seed is up to 10mm (?in) long with a parachute-like pappus at each end.The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
