Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring in pots and in cold climates place in a cold frame.
Take semi-hardwood cuttings during summer apply bottom heat.
Botanic information
Leaf: The tiny thick blue-green ovate leaves are arranged in opposite pairs and have an acute apex.
Flower: The small white tubulate flowers have 4-petals that are hairy on the outside and are arranged in a flat-topped cluster up to 20mm (µin) wide and appear during summer.
Fruit: The tiny one seeded fleshy fruit is white to red with a membranous outer layer.The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
