Propagation
Sow fresh seeds and place in a protected environment. Germination may take up to 12 months.

Take semi hardwood cuttings during summer apply bottom heat.


Botanic information
Leaf: The aromatic dull green leaves are linear to lanceolate with an acute apex and has a very short petiole. It has a stiff texture and may be slightly falcate with recurved margins. Juvenal leaves grow to 20mm (µin) long.

Flower: The small male strobili are solitary or arranged in groups up to 4 on a short peduncle and the axillary female cone is solitary or in pairs. They appear during early summer.

Fruit: The ovoid-oblong shaped cone is succulent and berry-like. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
