Propagation
Take semi-hardwood cuttings taken during summer.

Rooted runners may be detached and plant-up preferably during late winter.


Botanic information
Leaf: The hairy bright green leaves are linear or awl-shape to elliptical and are crowded along the stems.

Flower: The purple to white salverform flowers have a long tubular base opening with 5-ovate petals that are notched at the apex. The flowers are arranged in a terminal cyme or occasionally solitary during spring.

Fruit: The small three valved capsule contains the numerous seeds. The seeds are viable but the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
