Botanic information
Leaf: The small glossy green lanceolate leaves have a fleshy texture and tend to fold upwards. The apex is acuminate ending in a sharp point and the petiole is very short.

Flower: The long tubulate flowers vary in colour from pink to purple and white or white striped with an orange inner tube. They are arranged in a terminal corymb that appears during spring.

Fruit: The dehiscent capsular fruit splits along the mid ribs. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively in order to maintain true to type.
