Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F).

Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period.

Botanic information
Leaf: The glossy dark green leaves are broad lanceolate to oval and has a leathery texture. The apex is acute with a mucronate point.

Flower: The papilionate flower is composed of bright yellow lips with pale-yellow or white wings and a yellow keel that turns purple or crimson. They are solitary or arranged in pairs in the leaf axils towards the end of the branches and appear during spring.

Fruit: The small fruit is a compressed capsule with 2-chambers. The small seed is not commonly seen and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
