Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 19º to 24º C. (66º to 77º F).
Divide established clumps during spring.
Botanic information
Leaf: The large dark green to grey green leaves have a waxy leathery texture and are broad lanceolate up to 70mm (2? in) wide. The apex is long acuminate and the leaves are arranged in a fan shaped at the base.
Flower: The white 6-petalled rotate flowers have a central pail yellow or red blotch on 3-petals and are short lived but form consecutive blooms over a long period. They are arranged in a panicle on a tall scape above the foliage that appears during spring.
Fruit: The globular capsule is green ageing to brown and produces many seeds. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
