Propagation
Sow fresh seed from autumn to spring in pots and in cold climates place in a cold frame.
Take cuttings during summer apply bottom heat.
Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green leaves are linear to slightly spatulate with a smooth surface and a fleshy texture. The apex is obtuse and the leaf is sessile.
Flower: The small cyathiform flowers have 4-petals with two being larger and are arranged in a crowded terminal corymb that is up to 50mm (2in). They appear during spring.
Fruit: The small elliptical siliqua is 2-locular with solitary seeds and is normally removed from the plant to extend the flowering period. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
